Ideal Candidate

Deep instructional credibility in standards-aligned curriculum design, with hands-on experience spanning multiple grade bands and content areas, and fluency in research-based practices such as the Science of Reading and culturally responsive instruction.
Proven background building and operationalizing curriculum systems, including frameworks, quality controls, workflows, and governance models that support high-volume, repeatable production without sacrificing rigor.
End-to-end curriculum production experience, taking materials from concept through print-ready and digital formats, with a clear understanding of timelines, dependencies, and quality assurance requirements.
Demonstrated success leading through complexity and change, particularly in environments experiencing growth, organizational evolution, or increasing production demands.
Experience integrating technology into curriculum development and production, including the adoption of new tools, platforms, and (increasingly) AI-enabled workflows to improve efficiency and scalability.
Track record serving as a trusted advisor to district, network, or state-level education leaders, with the credibility to engage senior stakeholders on instructional strategy and outcomes.
Exposure to business development or client-facing work, including supporting solution design, proposal development, and presentations that translate instructional value into compelling offerings.
Strong people leadership foundation, including coaching director-level leaders, building accountability systems, and developing talent pipelines within mission-driven organizations.
Clear commitment to equity and inclusion, demonstrated through both leadership practices and curriculum outcomes, rather than solely through stated values.
