Destiny One, Destiny Solutions’ flagship product, is a business software solution that allows schools to succeed in today’s competitive marketplace. Destiny One manages all forms of non-traditional education such as professional development, professional education, non-credit continuing education, non-cohort online degree completion, corporate sponsored training, summer session management, and more.
Destiny One manages six (6x) stages of the higher education customer lifecycle: 1) Curriculum (e.g. plan and manage courses, certificates and programs); 2) Enrollment (e.g. increase registrations by engaging learners and automating the enrollment process); 3) Marketing (e.g. target marketing campaigns and define consistent branding); 4) Finance (e.g. govern accounting transactions and manage financial information); 5) System Administration (e.g. configure workflows, staff roles and permissions, business rules and fees); and 6) Reporting (e.g. leverage dashboards and reports to make business-intelligent decisions).

We are searching for a CEO to lead Destiny Solutions through an accelerated growth trajectory that includes both organic growth and acquisitions. This CEO role is a unique opportunity to build from $10M in revenue to $50M and to be compensated accordingly, to make a significant impact at this innovative company at a crucial phase of its business evolution, and to lead both strategy and execution for a well-regarded brand.
Reporting to the Board of Directors the CEO will:
- Develop a 3-year strategic plan for growth
- Enter new markets including the 2-year college market
- Identify acquisition targets
- Oversee the transformation of sales and marketing, creating an engine for growth and repeatable sales and marketing processes
- Ensure that all areas of the company are primed to scale
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a current CEO or general manager with P&L responsibility for high growth, SaaS or ERP business selling into the higher education market.
We are looking for a candidate will the following qualifications and experience:
- Running and scaling a business including new market entry, new product
development and acquisitions
- Deep knowledge of SaaS and recurring revenue model environments
- Growth orientation, superior analytical skills, and results focused
- Navigating long and complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders
- Risen through the ranks in sales and marketing
- Managed a P&L of at least $10M
- Leadership of customer success or professional services functions
- Mission-driven with a strong belief that education changes lives
