Opportunity

Reporting to the CEO, the Chief Product Officer is responsible for overseeing all aspects of product development and for setting a vision for the future product roadmap based on customer feedback, and market analysis, in collaboration with sales, marketing, and strategy. Additionally, the CPO is responsible for tactically organizing, implementing, and maintaining the day-to-day activities and personnel needed to manage Orijin’s current product and service offerings.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Lead, define, represent, and communicate product vision and strategy to all stakeholders, and collaborate to ensure long-term roadmap meets key business objectives and fuels GTM strategy
  • Implement product lifecycle management from concept to launch across all products and product lines. Define and refine product development processes and ensure highest quality standards are met for product delivery and achieving high returns for product investments
  • Lead, grow, manage, and mentor a team of internal and offshore product professionals
  • Effectively balance the need for addressing what the product needs are now, with an informed look to future opportunities and new technologies that will improve and expand solutions

You are not only a education product and software strategist, but also have the experience and drive to capture more market share by having a close relationship with external and internal customers. You are a thought leader who can partner with the CEO, and can engage in productive debate among colleagues, on the best strategies to increase impact and meet and exceed business objectives.

You should have the following experiences and skill sets:

  • Track record developing and implementing a short and long-term strategic roadmap
  • Experience designing, developing, and deploying scalable education software that has high user engagement and outcomes
  • Expertise in creating a goal driven learner journey with measurable outcomes
  • Proven ability in hiring, developing, and managing high-performing talent
  • Ability to create a culture of accountability and excellence in product development, and as a member of the executive leadership team, throughout the company
