Opportunity

Reporting to the CEO, the President of School Solutions will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and driving the overall success of the School Solutions organization. The primary focus will be on contracting with public and private K-12 schools to deliver tailored programs aimed at helping students achieve sustained academic gains, providing behavioral and emotional support, and offering professional development opportunities to teachers. This role requires a deep understanding of the education sector, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for empowering students, educators, and schools to thrive.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a clear and compelling vision for the School Solutions organization, setting goals and objectives that align with the needs of partner schools, students, and educators.
  • Business Development: Identify, pursue, and secure contract opportunities with public and private K-12 schools, establishing and maintaining productive partnerships to expand the reach and impact of our services.
  • Product Development: Oversee the design and development of innovative and evidence-based products and services that address the academic, behavioral, and emotional needs of students, ensuring sustained academic gains and holistic student development.
  • Operational Management: Provide effective and efficient operational management and oversight, ensuring the successful delivery of services within budget, on-time, and with exceptional quality.
  • Team and Talent Development: Build a best-in-the-industry leadership team and nurture the talent currently working across the Solutions group.

 Ideal Candidate

You are a President, CEO, or senior executive in a K12 education services organization with a track record of successful leadership, P&L management, revenue growth, operations and program improvement and expansion.

You should have the following experiences and skill sets:

  • Education Sector Expertise: Deep understanding of the challenges, opportunities, and trends in K-12 education, including solution-based programs, academic achievement, student support services, and professional development for teachers
  • M&A: Experience in leading the acquisition and integration of strategic tuck-ins as well as transformative acquisitions, preferably in the education sector
  • Cross Functional Leadership: You have successfully leveraged and driven alignment and collaboration across sales, marketing, and operations
  • Technology: Have led tech-enablement of education services and the digitizing of business platforms, both customer products and internal facing solutions
  • Go-to-Market Strategist: Creator and driver of successful GTM strategies across an evolving portfolio of services that increased impact, and revenue of education services
  • Business Acumen: Strong business and financial acumen, with a demonstrated ability to develop sustainable revenue streams, manage budgets, and drive organizational growth.
  • Operations Excellence: Track record of managing multi-site services across geographies with an emphasis on continuous improvement
  • Impact Orientation: A genuine passion for making a positive impact on students’ academic, social-emotional, and behavioral development, along with a commitment to equity and educational access
