Opportunity

Reporting to the FullBloom’s President School Solutions, the GM has three overarching responsibilities for the company’s core intervention and professional development businesses: 1. driving strategy and new business/growth; 2. sales execution and business development; 3. product development. This team consists of 4 direct reports and ~35 people – ~20 Sales, ~5 nonpublic faith-based leaders: ~10 product management (with ~100 part time employees delivering PD). This role is integral to FullBloom’s growth and plays a pivotal role in shaping our future business.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Create and execute integrated go-to-market strategy and sales plan to drive accelerated, multi-year growth for Intervention and PD businesses
  • Provide sales and business development leadership to drive new Intervention and PD business
  • Create product development vision and roadmap to enable product/service evolution and innovation while ensuring FullBloom meets market needs; create differentiated, meaningful, and unique value proposition; identify partnerships and M&A targets
  • Understand markets/buyers, assess/navigate competitive landscape, identify new service/product opportunities
  • Build relationships with strategic partners; nurture/manage key stakeholders such as superintendents and industry influencers
  • Experience managing RFP/proposal processes and creating winning responses; Personally cultivated high value client relationships that drove profitable revenue growth
  • Manage performance by setting targets and actively managing pipeline/results; perform regular performance evaluations
  • Enhance productivity by optimizing Dynamics CRM for tracking and performance analysis while improving effectiveness

 Ideal Candidate

You are a seasoned product strategy and management executive with a strong background in education sales. You possess a proven track record of leading teams that drive over $25 million in annual revenue in K-12 solutions and services for public schools, you are deeply committed to education. Your passion aligns closely with FullBloom’s mission of “creating brighter futures for all children, regardless of the learning barriers or other challenges they may face.”

You should have the following experiences and skill sets:

  • Developed and executed sales plans with understanding of school district funding dynamics, sales cycles, processes
  • Success leading/inspiring and “professionalizing” sales and product teams (eg introducing data-driven performance and structured product/sales training that elevate team capabilities)
  • Strong relationships and influence with senior education stakeholders, state agencies, national education organizations
  • Understand Title I, Title II, Title IV, IDEA funding dynamics to support schools as well as the sales team
  • High EQ and IQ/data wisdom – strong ability to build partnerships, make genuine connections while “asking for the business”
