The Opportunity

Reporting to the CEO, the VP of Marketing will be responsible for the entire marketing function, crafting and executing a strategy that drives growth while enhancing the impact on student success and family engagement.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation and Growth: By designing and executing robust lead generation programs, you’ll fill the sales pipeline with opportunities that fuel growth. Utilizing a mix of channels—from digital campaigns to events—you’ll maximize reach and impact.
  • Develop and Implement Marketing Strategy: You’ll develop and implement a marketing strategy that charts the course for ParentSquare’s growth. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track marketing performance and measure the success of initiatives. Your vision will align with ParentSquare’s mission, guiding the team to reach every educator and parent.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Assemble a fellowship of talented marketers by recruiting individuals with unique skills. You’ll mentor and inspire them, setting the stage for success.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Dive deep into market research seeking hidden treasures and exploring new ideas. The insights you uncover about trends, competitors, and customer needs will inform the next chapters of the marketing strategy

Ideal Candidate

ParentSquare is looking for an experienced and passionate VP of Marketing who will take a lead role in continuing to accelerate their growth in the K-12 education market.  You think of marketing’s role in the organization holistically, touching every aspect of the sales process and customer experience. You use a data-driven approach for lead generation for sales, encompassing new prospects, existing prospects and customers. You’re equally comfortable working as a peer with other leadership team members and rolling up your sleeves with a tight-knit marketing team.

  • Proven track record of crafting and executing successful marketing and lead-generation strategies
  • Extensive experience in product marketing, including product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Demonstrated success in recruiting, hiring, and developing high-performing marketing teams.
  • Exceptional leadership, storytelling, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work seamlessly across various departments and lead cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives and campaigns.
